About
Coming soon. Available to view Fall 2026.
The Christ and Mary at the Tomb statue portrays the sacred morning of the Resurrection. On the third day after His crucifixion, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found it empty. Overcome with grief, she did not recognize the man standing nearby until He spoke her name.
In that single word, Mary knew it was Jesus Christ. He had risen from the dead. His spirit and body were reunited forever. Through His victory over death, a promise was extended to all humanity: because of Him, every person will live again.
This statue doesn’t just tell a story from long ago, it shares a message of hope for today. It reminds all that Jesus Christ knows each of us by name, that He understands our sorrows, and that His Resurrection opens the way for peace, healing, and the assurance life beyond death.
