Reservations and Ticketing for the Celebration

Don’t miss a beat when planning for the historic Salt Lake Temple Celebration April 5 - October 1, 2027.

Thank you for the incredible response! As anticipated, interest has been extraordinary. The first batch of free reservations for the Salt Lake Temple open house tour has filled, but don’t worry, this is just the beginning. More reservations will be released in the coming weeks. Salt Lake Temple Ticketing


We know many people are looking forward to attending and touring the Salt Lake Temple Open House. We are prepared to make this a positive and seamless experience for everyone.

Reservations are not required for the Salt Lake Temple Celebration. All guests are welcome to join us on Temple Square anytime during the celebration - April 5 to Oct 1, 2027 - for many experiences, tours, videos, performances and activities.

Reservations are recommended for the Salt Lake Temple Open House Tour during the celebration. Walk-up reservations will be limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Ticket Releases

As Temple Square gets ready to welcome the world, it's your time to get ready to make reservations. Tickets will be released in batches throughout the registration window. If you are not able to secure tickets for the day or time you were hoping, don't worry. More tickets will become available in future releases. Join our email notification list and follow us on social media to be the first to know when new tickets are available.

All are welcome to the celebration. These tips will help guests plan for 2027.

    How Many Tickets Can be Reserved at One Time?

    Each guest can make one reservation for up to 6 tickets.

    Group Ticketing

    Submit the group ticketing request form for more than 6 tickets.

    Will Someone Actually Check for my Ticket?

    Yes. We will be scanning every ticket upon entering the temple.

    Request a stand-by ticket from any event staff upon arrival.

Tour Accommodations

The following accommodations are available during every tour to help guests have a comfortable and meaningful experience. Please let your host know if you or someone in your group would benefit from any of the following accommodations.

Language Support

Language support is available during all tour times.

Hard of Hearing

Assistive listening options are available to all guests.

Elevator Assistance

Elevator routes are available to guests who need it.

Young Children

Audio tour accommodations are available to support the needs and comfort of younger guests.

An Experience for All

Specialty Tours

Specialty tours are available for guests with specific accessibility needs. If you or someone in your group would benefit from one of these tours, please refer to the schedule below for available dates and times. These three specialty tour types are available May through September.

Deaf Tour (ASL)


Experience the tour with an American Sign Language (ASL) host who provides interpretation and guidance throughout the temple.

  • First Monday of the month: 10:00 a.m.
  • Second Tuesday of the month: 8:00 p.m.
  • Third Thursday of the month: 11:00 a.m.

Blind and Low Vision Tour


Through tactile experiences and rich descriptive storytelling, this tour helps bring the surroundings to life for guests who are blind or have low vision.

  • First Monday of the month, 11:00 a.m.
  • Second Tuesday of the month, 7:00 p.m.
  • Third Thursday of the month, 2:00 p.m.
Walking Out of the Temple

Neurodiverse Tour


Offered in a welcoming and flexible environment, this tour accommodates a variety of sensory, communication, and learning needs while allowing extra time for engagement and participation.

  • First Monday of the month, 12:00 p.m.
  • Second Tuesday of the month, 6:00 p.m.
  • Third Thursday of the month, 3:00 p.m.

  • What is the schedule for Open House Tours?

    Tours are available daily, April 5–October 1, 2027, and scheduled from 8:40 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • I don’t see any available tickets. What should I do?

    Please check back often. Tickets may become available when guests change or return reservations. You can also watch for the next ticket drop, when more reservations will be added. Walk-up tickets may be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • What if I need to exchange or return my ticket?

    You may return or change your reservation in the ticketing system. If you know you cannot use your tickets, please return them so other guests have the opportunity to attend.

  • Can children take the tour?

    Yes! A special children’s version of the audio tour will be available to help younger guests understand and enjoy the experience.
