Enter the world’s largest genealogical library where 8 billion names wait to tell their stories—including yours. With billions of records from more than 100 countries, state-of-the-art technology, and multilingual experts, everyone is welcome to explore their heritage.

Volunteers and staff can help you turn names and dates into meaningful stories. Access exclusive records like passenger ship manifests showing your ancestor’s signature, census records revealing forgotten family members, or military documents detailing service and sacrifice.

For many, this experience strengthens a sense of identity and belonging. It also reflects a core belief of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: families matter deeply. Family generations can be connected now—and through temple covenants, family members can be together for eternity.

FamilySearch visits and resources are free to all. Bring any information you have—even a single name can help you connect with your family tree and the family of God.
