Exhibit
The Heavens Are Opened
A flagship exhibit tracing the early history of the Church through film, artifacts, and interactive storytelling.
About
Moving through the exhibit, you’ll encounter original documents, artifacts, and recreated environments that tell the story of building Christ’s restored church. Displays explore the translation of the Book of Mormon, the organization of the Church, and the challenges faced by early members as they sought to follow revelation and build communities of faith.
Interactive elements, maps, and media experiences help historical stories come to life, especially for youth and families. The Heavens Are Opened invites all to consider how Heavenly Father continues to speak to His children and how there is guidance through faith in Jesus Christ.
