Church History Museum
The museum will be temporarily closed to the public September 6–12, 2026 due to construction.
Come learn about the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Church History Museum tells the story of a global faith through art, artifacts, and personal experiences. Discover how Church members have lived, worshipped, and shared their faith in Jesus Christ throughout different times and cultures.
In addition to permanent and rotating exhibits, the museum features films, demonstrations, and interactive media that make history accessible to all ages. Admission is free.

This live performance venue features music, dance, and storytelling inspired by the history of the Salt Lake Temple. Talented local performers share stories of faith, dedication, and perseverance that helped shape Temple Square.
