Historic Church Offices

Built in the 1850s, the historic Church Offices served as the Church headquarters until 1917. From these three buildings—the President’s Office, Church Office, and Telegraph Office—individuals worked together to administer the work of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Today, tours offer a look into the work of the Church during a foundational period and highlight individuals who used their talents to build Zion.

Beehive and Lion Houses Gift Shop
Located inside the historic Beehive and Lion Houses, this gift shop features books, replicas, and souvenirs connected to the faith, history, and heritage of Latter-day Saints.

This area highlights the sustainable design of the Temple Square landscape. Water-wise plants, new and historic trees, plus smart irrigation systems help conserve millions of gallons of water each year while creating a beautiful and welcoming environment.
