Come learn about the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Church History Museum tells the story of a global faith through art, artifacts, and personal experiences. Discover how Church members have lived, worshipped, and shared their faith in Jesus Christ throughout different times and cultures.
In addition to permanent and rotating exhibits, the museum features films, demonstrations, and interactive media that make history accessible to all ages. Admission is free.

A Firm Foundation
This family-friendly exhibit explores physical and spiritual foundations using the story of the Salt Lake Temple. Children can try an earthquake table, take photos in an ox yoke, and think about building a spiritual foundation on Jesus Christ.

Deuel Cabin
The Deuel Cabin offers a glimpse into pioneer life during the first months of settlement in the Salt Lake Valley. Built in 1847, the small log home reflects the faith, hard work, and determination of early Latter-day Saint families.

Restoration of Sealing Keys
In this scene, the Old Testament prophet Elijah appears to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery. He restored priesthood sealing power to them so that, through Jesus Christ, marriages and families can continue forever with peace and joy.
