This state-of-the-art building holds millions of items collected from around the world, including personal writings, scriptures, and records that trace the growth of the Church in every era.
The Foundations of Faith exhibit tells the story of the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ using historical documents. You can research your own family in Church records such as a missionary database. A Church History Biographical Database includes fascinating information about pioneers to traveled to the Salt Lake Valley, members of the Mormon Battalion, and more.
The preserved records at this library bear witness of how disciples of Jesus Christ have lived their faith, served others, and shared His gospel across the globe.

Foundations of Faith
This exhibit displays original books and documents from Church history, including early scripture manuscripts and handwritten records of latter-day prophets. These rare items show how the Church of Jesus Christ was restored and how it has grown worldwide.

Rise Up and Speak: Eliza R. Snow’s Life and Legacy
This exhibit uses original letters, journals, photographs, and artifacts to introduce Eliza R. Snow—an early Church leader, poet, and president of the Relief Society—whose work helped shape one of the world’s largest women’s organizations.

Five Wise Virgins
This statue represents Jesus Christ’s parable of the ten virgins—five prepared with oil for their lamps and five who were not. It invites reflection on how faith in Christ brings light, strength, and peace when life’s challenges arise.

Reflection Pool
Located on the east side of the Salt Lake Temple, the Reflection Pool offers a calm place to pause. Its still surface mirrors the temple, inviting visitors to reflect on peace and steadiness found through Jesus Christ.

Conference Center Rooftop Gardens
Located atop the Conference Center, these rooftop gardens offer a surprising natural retreat several stories above downtown. Native plants, flowing water, and open paths create a place to enjoy the beauty of God’s creations.
