Foundations of Faith invites visitors to explore original documents that record the restoration and growth of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From its organization in 1830 to the present day, the Church has carefully preserved written records to help each generation remember Jesus Christ and recognize His guiding hand.

On display are some of the Church’s most significant historical records, including early editions of modern scripture, handwritten journals and writings of latter-day prophets, and documents that reflect key moments in the Church’s organization and growth around the world.

Because of their age and importance, these items are protected in high-security cases with custom supports that control light and humidity. The exhibit offers a quiet, reflective experience, inviting visitors to see how written records have helped preserve faith, testimony, and devotion to Jesus Christ over time.
