The Woman at the Well statue illustrates a meaningful account from the Gospel of John. As Jesus Christ traveled through Samaria, He paused at a well and spoke with a Samaritan woman, offering her “living water” that leads to everlasting life.
During their conversation, Christ revealed that He was the Messiah—the Savior of the world. The woman believed Him and left her waterpot behind to share her experience with others. Because of her testimony, many came to hear Jesus Christ for themselves.
