Enjoy a quiet moment with a replica of Thorvaldsen’s Christus in a reverent pavilion overlooking the Salt Lake Temple. The space includes “living artwork” of the Savior’s life and a short audio presentation offered every 30 minutes. The statue is in the west pavilion of the Visitors’ Center.
In Gethsemane, Jesus Christ knelt in prayer and bore the pain, sorrow, and sins of the world. This statue honors His act of love and invites reflection on the strength, peace, and hope found through Him.
This newly commissioned sculpture portrays Jesus Christ extending His arm in strength and compassion. Inspired by His invitation to “come unto me,” it reflects His willingness to receive, help, and give peace to all who turn to Him.
This statue depicts Jesus Christ ordaining His Apostles and giving them authority to act in God’s name. Sent to teach, heal, and serve, they show how faith in Christ leads to purposeful action that continues to bless lives today.
This statue portrays Jesus Christ after His Resurrection, inviting children in the ancient Americas to come to Him. He blessed them one by one and prayed for them, reflecting His love for all children and the peace and joy found through faith in Him.
