Celebration Stage

Located on the lawn between the Salt Lake Tabernacle and Assembly Hall, the Celebration Stage serves as a gathering place for uplifting performances throughout the Salt Lake Temple Celebration. Through music, dance, and storytelling, these presentations share messages of faith, hope, gratitude, and devotion to Jesus Christ.
The performances highlight the central theme of the Celebration: rejoicing in the Savior and the blessings He makes possible through His life, teachings, Atonement, and Resurrection. Audiences will experience a variety of artistic styles and performances that inspire reflection, gratitude, and joy.
Featuring local performing groups and artists, the Celebration Stage offers opportunities to gather with family and friends, enjoy meaningful entertainment, and celebrate the light and hope found in Jesus Christ.

Come and celebrate the miraculous life of Jesus Christ — from His birth to His ministry, atoning sacrifice, and glorious Resurrection — told through beautiful music of worship. Projected onto the ceiling dome of the Salt Lake Tabernacle, this production combines music, light, history, and visual storytelling.

His Holy Name Galleries
See Jesus Christ portrayed in14 backlit stained-glass-inspired images that highlight His divine attributes and ministry. Located near the entrance to the Salt Lake Temple Open House Tour, this collection offers a nice stroll or meeting place before entering the ticketed tour experience.

Joseph Smith Receives the Plates
This statue portrays the heavenly messenger, Moroni, delivering ancient plates to Joseph Smith. The record contains the teachings of prophets who lived in ancient America who testified of Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith translated the plates by the gift and power of God. It is known as The Book of Mormon and invites all to learn of Christ and draw nearer to Him.

Seagull Monument
In 1848, pioneers prayed as crickets threatened their crops. Seagulls arrived and saved the harvest. This monument remembers that moment and reflects the belief that God hears prayers and sustains His children through Jesus Christ.
