Relief Society Building
Explore the headquarters of the women-led organizations of the Church and see the impact faithful women make.
About
Visit the headquarters for the Church’s women-led organizations: the Relief Society (adult women), Young Women (teen girls), and Primary (children). From here, female leaders of these organizations support women and children throughout the world by developing programs, resources, and global initiatives rooted in faith and service.
The building itself was completed in 1956 through fundraising efforts of women in the Relief Society. An assembly hall provides space for leadership training. Reception areas welcome visitors and dignitaries from around the globe.
Exhibits in the Relief Society Building highlight the long tradition of women following the example of Jesus Christ: strengthening families, caring for those in need, and serving with quiet, consistent compassion. Many visitors find this a meaningful place to reflect on how service—even through small acts—can have a lasting and worldwide impact.
