The Church Administration Building provides offices for the First Presidency, the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and other general authorities, along with their staff. From here, Church leaders oversee the global work of the Church.
Constructed between 1914 and 1917, the building is made of quartz monzonite from Little Cottonwood Canyon—the same quarry used for the Salt Lake Temple and the Utah State Capitol.
