Volunteer Opportunities – The Rejoice Team
Be part of a once-in-a-lifetime celebration centered on Jesus Christ! The Rejoice Team is a group of volunteers serving at Temple Square during the Salt Lake Temple Celebration.
Whether you guide visitors through the temple, spread spontaneous moments of joy throughout Temple Square, or support guests from behind the scenes, there is a place on the Rejoice Team for you! We are seeking volunteers 16 years and older who can serve one shift per week for 8 to 14 weeks.
A wide range of job roles and shift times are available to meet your individual needs.

(Unpaid)Throughout the Celebration, multiple stages across Temple Square will come to life with music and performances from a wide range of groups and genres. We invite community, school, interfaith, and cultural groups to apply, and welcome performers of all experience levels—from professional to amateur. Our goal is to reflect the diversity, talent, and spirit of the broader community.

Help bring the story of the Church to life. The Church History Museum is looking for volunteers to serve as guides and educators, welcoming millions of guests during the celebration. Through new exhibits and engaging experiences focused on the Salt Lake Temple and the Restoration, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire, teach, and create meaningful connections.

(Paid)We are looking for Temple Square Guides who are responsible for ensuring guests receive an exceptional, Christ-centered experience. Candidates should be returned missionaries (within the past 3 years) and have excellent interpersonal, prioritization, professionalism, and leadership skills. Guides will help support experiences in the Visitors' Center, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, Welfare Square, and other locations.
